Background
Mrs. Nickel has been assisting foreign clients
in obtaining appropriate visas, as well as U.S. employers sponsoring foreign workers, since 1986. She has authored numerous
articles about immigration/investment visas and related issues, and participated in seminars on immigration and visa issues,
including educational seminars sponsored by area banks and realtor associations. Recently, she was a featured speaker at an
international program highlighting visa and investment issues in Southwest Florida.
From 1986 to 1997, Mrs. Nickel
practiced as a partner in a Southwest Florida area law firm (formerly known as “Amato, Anderson & Nickel, P.A.”).
Since 1997 she has been a sole practitioner, practicing law under the name “Gudrun Maria Nickel, P.A.”
Publications and Appearances
In 2000 Mrs. Nickel’s book, Einwandern in die U.S.A., was published
by Walhalla Fachverlag in Regensburg, Germany. The book, in the German language, discusses the various types of visas available
for those wishing to immigrate to the United States and the application procedures involved.
In addition to her
immigration practice, Mrs. Nickel has also authored several legal handbooks on other subjects, including “Debtors’
Rights,” which has recently been re-titled “Credit Repair Answer Book” (Sphinx Publishing) and “How
to Probate and Settle an Estate in Florida.”
As part of her professional career, Mrs. Nickel has appeared
on national television programs including CNN, Lifetime channel’s “New Attitudes,” and MSNBC, as well as
numerous radio programs.
